What struck me first about Randy Shaw is that he was and is genuinely interested in me and my story.

Randy is a seasoned coach who sometimes seems inspired to know where to look, what to say and do. He has, in a short time, has helped me to peel away many layers of unhappiness and guilt, and to see myself and others in a far more productive, self-loving light.

I believe that on our journey through this world we each are directed to mentors who help make the path clearer for us, so that we can progress toward enlightenment at a higher and happier level. My coach, Randy Shaw, is one of those blessed people!

For 14 years I had been struggling with some deep seated emotional problems. The emotional issues had apparently been with me for many years, but did not emerge until late 1993 after the death of my wife. Later, I remarried and became a step-father to 3 children, I began to experience serious bouts of anxiety and depression, for no apparent reason.

From 1993 to late 2007 I tried anti-depressants, then talk therapy, and later I learned EFT. These things helped me learn to cope but none cured me. I felt like a caged bird, held down by anxiety, worthlessness, shame and fear.

I met a Hypnotherapist at a business conference in Baltimore in 2007. We became quick friends. When he learned that I lived in Utah he knew immediately to whom I should be referred, and that person was Randy Shaw.

Our first session was sublime and powerful. My mind and feelings took us exactly where we needed to go, and it was not what I expected at all. Randy told me, "What we can feel, we can heal." This statement was very reassuring to me and gave me much comfort. I did feel many feelings that I had learned to stuff deep inside myself. I felt them, but I did not fear them.

Life is much improved for me now after several sessions with Randy. I feel joy and optimism that I have not experienced in many years. In just a few sessions I made more progress than in the 14 prior years of trying to cope and manage my issues.

Stephen Parkhill is the author of Answer Cancer, the Healing of a Nation. It's out of print for the second time.
 

Emotional Freedom Technique: EFT
Certificate of Completion, Fundamentals Course, August, 2005. EFT was introduced to me by Matt Sison, as a powerful tool to facilitate the release of negative feelings and blockage to allow positive energy/feelings to flow and be re-established within our body/mind. I'm currently working on a DVD program that demonstrates how I've put together EFT with Hypnosis to help my clients get rapid relief and changes.

Randy Shaw is an amazing healer. I use the word healer as opposed to hypnotherapist because he exceeds the limitations of a hypnotherapist. His process is whole, complete and teaches the client a set of philosophies and concepts to empower their lives.

I have had the wonderful opportunity of utilizing Randy to help me with my own issues. And every time he has brought me full circle with the issues I was struggling with when I could not heal on my own. Many times he has brought me from complete utter emotional, physical, and even spiritual pain to enlightenment.

Randy has guided me past blocks that have been holding me down that prevented me from accessing my full potential. He has the gifted talent of listening and finding what is hiding in the subconscious and bringing it up for cleansing. He thus takes what's hiding and gently, powerfully and effectively helps you move through them.

There are only a very few people I would trust with my subconscious and Randy is on the top of my list.

Randy, at first was my "student" of hypnotherapy, but has surpassed student to teacher. There's an old saying that says "the biggest gift you can ever give your teacher is to become better than him" ... It is quite easy for me to say that Randy has exceeded me on many levels of healing others.
